The Institute for Management of Innovation and Technology (IMIT), Sweden

IMIT was established in 1979 and is a scientific institute based in Stockholm whose aim is to pursue and promote research and development in technical and industrial renewal and administration. IMIT acts as a creative link between the development of scientific knowledge and industrial renewal work. The research work carried out by IMIT focuses primarily on how the benefits of technical development can be improved by providing knowledge of industrial management and economics. IMIT works on projects nationally and internationally in co-operation with research institutes, universities and industry in order to develop interaction between technology and management. IMIT covers all area of project work and promotes the dissemination of research findings through seminars and by encouraging the exchange of idea between researchers and practitioners.
