The eWork relocation process

An understanding of the different types of eWork relocation process can be important in influencing the regional development strategy (page 51) most likely to be successful (Flecker and Kirschenhofer, 2002).

In order to unravel the dynamics of eWork relocation, the essential elements of the decision-making process can be conceptualised as taking place in three stages. Each stage consists of two main components, one of which tends to dominate, although there will sometimes be a mix of the two. This model of the 3-stage eWork relocation process is laid out in the following diagram:
