Regional eWork push factors

Building on the standard regional and ICT profile and the eWork survey (page 58), it can be useful to carry out an analysis of regional eWork push factors, likely to result in the region losing eWork jobs. This might involve identifying:

  1. which push factors characterise the region now — list and analyse in order of importance

  2. which push factors have potential to characterise the region in future — list and analyse in order of importance and state time frame and any assumptions (eg under different scenarios of the future)

Regional eWork pull factors

Building on the standard regional and ICT profile and the eWork survey, an analysis of eWork pull factors, likely to result in the region gaining eWork jobs, might include identifying:

  1. which pull factors characterise the region now — list and analyse in order of importance

  2. which pull factors have potential to characterise the region in future — list and analyse in order of importance and state time frame and any assumptions (eg under different scenarios of the future)
